Standardization Tutorial
(16 December 2010)
This year's ITU Kaleidoscope event will be followed by a tutorial on
Standardization to be held on 16 December 2010.
The Standardization tutorial will cover background information on how
standardization works and how participants can increase their effectiveness as
well as a simulation of a standards-setting meeting. Participants coming from
academia, industry and government will gain practical and theoretical knowledge
about international standardization. In interactive role plays, participants
will learn the art of reaching consensus.
All Kaleidoscope participants are strongly encouraged to attend this tutorial.
REGISTRATION: In order to attend the tutorial, it is necessary
to register online by checking the check-box on the Kaleidoscope
registration form.
If you are a GISFI participant, please register with the GISFI Secretariat. In
either case, there is no participation fee.
