Urban infrastructure is important to the city. Due to the large number and wide distribution, it is difficult and costly to monitor the status of urban infrastructures in real time. By adopting crowdsourcing, urban infrastructure monitoring can achieve efficient inspection, including lower cost, less false report, flexible scalability, etc. This recommendation specifies the framework of urban infrastructure monitoring based on crowdsourcing, including introduction of the method, architecture, common procedures and security and privacy considerations.
