Summary:

This document describes the overall protocol framework of IMT-2020, including the functional entities (FEs), protocols and reference points of the 5G basic architecture defined in ITU-T Y.3102 according to the standards developed by different SDOs. The protocol framework covers the following technical aspects: ICN signaling, slicing management (e.g. slice selection, interaction slice-to-slice, etc.), signaling on access, aggregation and core layer, mobile backhaul/fronthaul signaling, etc.
