Summary:

In addition to Internet access, the home broadband user demand continues to grow, as streaming video, cloud storage, and other cloud applications. While the provisioning and operation of broadband services and cloud services are completely independent nowadays. It is difficult to coordinate between the business plane and operation management plane, and it is impossible to realize automatic provisioning and operation. These problems can be solved by increasing vBNG's ability to access the cloud and making the broadband access service and cloud access entity consistent. This Draft Recommendation aims to introduce the scenarios of virtual Broadband Network Gateway for cloud access. The requirements and signalling procedures of virtual Broadband Network Gateway for cloud access will also be claimed.
