Summary: This guideline is intended to provide information for those who intend to establish a CDC on what metrics should be considered when establishing and operating a CDC according to X.1060 and what specific evaluation metrics are available for each phase of the CDC and each service catalog. The intent is to provide helpful information for those who want to build a CDC. The Guidelines first consider what Security metrics are in general and how they should be considered. It will also cover as much as possible examples of what Security metrics are generally used. After that, we will discuss the metrics deemed necessary for each phase of the CDC or each service catalog and describe how they can improve functionality and performance when building and operating a CDC.
