Summary: The digital twin smart aquaculture system aims to increase the productivity of aquaculture and promote eco-friendly aquaculture technology by applying IoT, ICT, big data, and AI technologies to traditional aquaculture systems. With the emergence of big data, AI, and cloud technologies, intelligent edge cloud platform services provide powerful performance and resources for managing and analyzing vast amounts of data, enabling support for smart aquaculture technology. The intelligent edge-supported digital twin smart aquaculture system can be realized using the Rec. ITU-T Q.5001 intelligent edge computing (IEC). The IEC reference point TE can be used in the sensor and actuator parts of the smart aquaculture system, and the reference points between ENE/ICE/EGE can be used for interaction with the edge server. By using these reference points, water quality, growth, energy, and environmental data collected in the aquaculture field can be transmitted to the edge server. Data accumulated in the edge server is transmitted to the service module through the cloud server. Service factor is transmitted to the edge server according to the service items provided by the service module. These services are provided directly to the physical fish farm to implement functions such as information and control. In addition, services such as data visualization and prediction information can be provided to digital fish farms. Through this, a data interface is provided so that physical and virtual fish farms can be used for operation. This draft recommendation defines the data management interface for intelligent edge computing-based digital twin smart aquaculture systems.
