Citizens of some countries are required to obtain a visa in order to enter Switzerland.
Visa applications must be submitted to the Swiss consulate closest to their place of residence at least four (4) weeks prior to the planned travel date. The processing of a request for visa support may take up to 21 days. Further information is available on this link: Swiss Confederation – State Secretariat for Migration.
- When needed, visa support can be requested by a delegate representing a Member State on the registration form by selecting the visa option.
- There is no need to send further documentation to ITU as the visa support request procedure will follow automatically.
- Visa support confirmations will be sent to the delegate's Focal Point, with a copy to the delegate.
