Transport: 
It will be provided from official WTDC hotels at 06h30 and at 07h00, to Lemigo Hotel. Buses will be available to drop attendees off to KCC after the event.


The Network of Women (NoW) in the Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D) is hosting a Women's Breakfast during the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC). The goal of this breakfast conversation is to continue with discussions from the luncheon. It’s intended to collate ideas on promoting gender equality in the field of telecommunications/ICTs through building on existing efforts including bringing to life, the gender-related WTDC conference resolutions, in particular WTDC RESOLUTION 55 (Rev. Buenos Aires, 2017) - Mainstreaming a gender perspective for an inclusive and egalitarian information society.

Objective:

  • Share knowledge and present/share some data to give insightful expertise on the current status of gender in the digital age.
  • Check alignment of NoW inputs in the conference.
  • Debrief on Res 55 with proposals of bringing it to life in the network.
