Regional ITU CoE Workshop for CIS on Infocommunications Development Prospects: Technologies and Regulatory Issues, Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan, 23-24 September 2014

The main scope of the workshop is presentation of the infocommunication development outlook and the regulatory issues. In particular, the workshop will cover following aspects:

• Development of Android and  iOS ecosystems in the mobile content market;
• The issue of transition to the new IPv6 addressing system;
• Cloud technologies;
• The issues of service quality management in the conditions of post-NGN transition;
• peculiarities of the communication regulatory framework in the CIS countries;
• Peculiarities and the outlook of the RFS use in 5G networks;
• Mobile communication market competence improvement tools: MVNO, MTR, MNP, and shared use of frequency and network resources.
