OVERVIEW

This Workshop is aimed at sharing practical experience in the field of the building of broadband access networks in small and medium-sized settlement. In particular, the workshop will cover the issues, such as:

The issues and ways of digital divide elimination;
Creation of active and passive access networks in the light of new solutions and standards;
The position of optical fibre on the network section;
Potential solutions for both modulation characteristics and increase of the number of subscribers on the access networks;
Wi-Fi and WiMAX radio access systems;
Last mile concept: small cells (LTE/Femto);
М2М services;
М2М network solutions for wireless systems of energy accounting and control systems;
Presentation of new solutions implemented in the Russian Federation and other CIS countries.
