OVERVIEW

This Workshop is aimed at sharing practical experience in in the field of organizational and technical development of telecommunications/ICT. In particular, the Workshop will cover the following issues:

Analysis of current state of the development of telecommunications/ICT in the CIS countries;
Recommendations of international organizations and best practices of a number of countries in the field of organizational and technical development of telecommunications/ICT;
The role of the state in the development of the ICT and legal and regulatory framework of telecommunications/ICT in the CIS countries;
The issues of organizational regulation of telecommunications/ICT in the CIS countries (including licensing and tariff determination);
The issues of technical regulation of telecommunications/ICT in the CIS countries (including intercommunication between the networks of different communication providers and shared use of infrastructure);
Technical, organizational, and procedural aspects of revelation and prevention of cybercrimes, as well as child online protection;
Organizational and technical issues of human use of telecommunications/ICT;
Capacity building for telecommunications/ICT development through intensification of the ICT implementation in education.
