OVERVIEW

This Workshop is aimed at sharing practical experience in in the field of use of information and communications technologies for health protection and implementation of telemedicine services, including in rural and remote areas. In particular, the Workshop will cover the following issues:

E-health priorities and practice;
e-health implementation in low-resource settings;
current projects on e-health and prospects of e-health development;
future technologies on e-health;
e-health in the case of disasters;
activities of ITU-T and ITU-D in the field of e-health.
