The Expert Group Meeting on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Youth was held in Athens, Greece, on 09 and 10 December 2015.
This meeting was organized by the International Telecommunication Union in partnership with the Hellenic Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks, General Secretariat of Telecommunications and Post, within the framework of the ITU European Regional Initiative on "Entrepreneurship, innovation and youth", adopted by WTDC-14, Dubai.
The Expert Group Meeting continued and further enhanced the discussions started at the Regional Development Forum for Europe held on 19-21 April 2015 in Bucharest, Romania. With a particular focus on the national experiences as related to entrepreneurship and SMEs, the meeting aimed to exchange best practices and identify challenges related to entrepreneurship and innovation at the national and regional level in Europe. It also allowed to build a community of professionals in the field of entrepreneurship, innovation and youth to jointly develop a plan of action at the regional level.
