Fan Bai received his B.Eng. degree in communication engineering from Changchun University of Science and Technology, Jilin Province, China, in 2007. From 2007 to 2010, he was with Beijing R&D center, ZTE Corporation, China, as system engineer. He received his M.Sc. degree in computer system and network engineering from the Waseda University, Japan, in 2013. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Graduate School of Global Information and Telecommunication Studies (GITS), Waseda University, Japan. His research interests include optical wireless communication (outdoor and indoor), optical fiber communication and digital signal processing. He is a student member of IEICE.
