Local Universities Exhibit - ITU Kaleidoscope 2016

This year's Kaleidoscope programme looked into ICT developments capable of supporting the broad spectrum of innovation required to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasizing the role of international ICT standards in providing the platform for this innovation to achieve its aims on a global scale.

In parallel with the plenary conference sessions, the Local Universities Exhibit was a unique opportunity to share ideas and ongoing projects in Asia-Pacific’s academic circles, among industry representatives, who are experts on the standardization of ICTs, and academics.

The showcase took place at the exhibition space of ITU Telecom World 2016 (IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd.) in Bangkok, Thailand, on 14-17 November 2016. The Local Universities Exhibit (stand n. 2110.1) was hosted at the ITU-T Standards for Global lCTs pavilion (stand n. 2110).

General information and time schedule

Exhibition space is limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The installation of the exhibition material (papers, projects, etc) will take place on 14 November between 13:00 and 14:00 hours.
The removal of the exhibition material will take place on 16 November between 17:00 and 18:00 hours, and on 17 November by 16:00 hours.

Description of exhibition facilities

Space allocated for each individual exhibition will be confirmed upon reception of all exhibitors’ requests.
Panels, tables and chairs will be provided. Any other material and/or equipment MUST be provided by the participants (monitors, computers, supports for demos, projects, lights, etc).
Personalized signage for exhibitors will not be provided. Exhibitors are responsible for preparing their own signage.
Wireless LAN (WiFi) access will be available and setup instructions will be provided on site.
Power of 220 V is available with local standard power sockets.

Shipment of material

A storage area is available for shipments of material arriving before the exhibition.
Confirmed exhibitors, who are interested in shipping material and equipment for the showcase, should contact their own transportation company as necessary.
