Mr. Hongki Cha is a Senior Researcher of Standards & Open Source Division, ETRI. His roles are international standardization on IoT/healthcare/security and standardization strategy. At OCF, he is the Chair of HTG (Healthcare Task Group) and the editor of healthcare standards for OCF's Device Specification and Resource Type Specification. At JTC 1/WG 12, he is the editor of ISO/IEC WD 23510 (Information technology - 3D Printing and Scanning - Framework for Additive Manufacturing Service Platform (AMSP))
At ITU-T SG20, he published ITU-T Y.4555 (Service functionalities of self-quantification over Internet of things) as the first editor. He was also a Korean national delegation to ITU Plenipotentiary Conferences both in 2014 and 2018 which led him to two Ministerial Awards for Excellence in 2015 and 2018, respectively.
His colleagues and friends consider him a positive and outgoing person. He speaks four languages: Korean, English, French, and Chinese.
