Dr. Jian Song received B. Eng and PhD degrees from Electronic Engineering Department, Tsinghua University, China, and has been Post-doctor in The Chinese University of Hong Kong and University of Waterloo, respectively. He then worked in USA for seven years, and joined Tsinghua faculty team in 2005.
Dr. Song is Associate Editor of IEEE Transaction on Broadcasting and the founding Editor-in-Chief of ITU academic Journal, ICT Discoveries.
Dr. Song's current research interests include digital broadcasting, wireless communication, integrated visible light and powerline communications. He has published over 260 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers.
Dr. Song is the Fellow of IEEE, IET, and CIE (Chinese Institute of Electronics).
