Kentaro YOSHIKAWA

​​ Kentaro Yoshikawa graduated from Akita University School of Medicine, Japan, in 2002, and received a Ph.D. in medicine from Shinshu University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan, in 2014.

He joined the Department of Pediatrics, Shinshu University School of Medicine, Japan in 2002. Since then, he has been engaged in pediatric clinical practice at some hospitals in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. In 2013, he was appointed Project Researcher of Shinshu University Hospital, and was working on tele-communication and tele-monitoring R&D for pediatric patients. In 2018, he was appointed Specially Appointed Assistant Professor of Shinshu University School of Medicine.

He is currently working on developing the IoT system for the patients with intractable diseases at home. He is a member of the Japanese Telemedicine and Telecare Association.
