Trix Mulder is, as of February 2017, a PhD researcher at the University Medical Center Groningen and the Department of Transboundary Legal Studies at the University of Groningen. She works under the supervision of Prof. dr. G.P. Mifsud Bonnici and Prof. dr. R.P. Stolk and her research focuses on the impact of privacy regulation on the processing of health data through modern technologies, such as apps and wearables. This research project also investigates the current consent practices for data sharing.
In 2011, she started studying IT law, part time, next to her job as General Manager at an IT firm. In 2016, she completed her study years with an LL.M. in IT Law (cum laude) and in 2017 with her second LL.M Research Master.
