Aldebaro KLAUTAU received the Ph.D. degree from the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) in 2003, and is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Para (UFPA), Brazil.
At UFPA he is also the ITU Focal Point and directs the LASSE Research Group. He is a senior member of the IEEE and of the Brazilian Telecommunications Society (SBrT), and a researcher of CNPq and INESC Brazil.
