Fernando
BELTRAN (f.beltran@auckland.ac.nz) is Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Fernando received an Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree from Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia, and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from State University of New York in Stony Brook, NY. His current research is on the economics of data privacy protection and data marketplaces, strategic models of competition and cooperation in radio spectrum sharing, and immersive analytics supported by network data visualization. Dr. BELTRAN currently leads the Aroaro Research Space, the UoA data visualization lab.
