Mfundo MANELI was born in South Africa. He received the National Diploma and Advanced Diploma degrees in software development from the Nelson Mandela University, South Africa, and the postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) degree in e-skills development with immersive technology from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa, where he is currently pursuing the M.Sc. degree in computer science. He is a research assistant in his current affiliation and also serves as a teaching assistant for the PGDip programme. He has published in an accredited high impact journal platform, and been a recipient of the Golden Key International Honor Society Award. He has keen interest in software development, LiDAR 3D reconstruction solutions, and applications of immersive technology in diverse computing settings.
