Keynote speech: Building a Green Network: Leveraging KPIs to Reach Net Zero Carbon

Telecommunication networks consume an enormous amount of electricity and, as a result, have a significant carbon footprint. Working towards a sustainable digital future, the ICT sector must take action to reduce network carbon intensity. This special keynote session will dive into the Key Performance Indicators necessary to measure and benchmark performance to help the ICT sector and the industry as a whole take the actions required to reach net zero carbon.

Session 4: Enabling Sustainable Digital Transformation Towards COP27 Through ICTs

This session will explore how the ICT sector is moving forward in achieving carbon neutrality in two distinct ways: one by assessing the sector's own GHG emissions and implementing key initiatives to reduce its impact, and secondly, by innovating and demonstrating how ICTs can be a key enabler for other sectors on their journey towards net zero carbon.\
