​Yoshihide Tonomura, NTTYoshihide Ton​omura joined Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) Corporation, in 2004, and he has been working on super high definition image coding and transmission. He has been working on international standardization activities, such as MPEG and ITU-T. From 2011 to 2012 he had been a visiting scholar at MIT media lab.
Lauay Bassbouss, Fraunhofer Louay Bassbouss is a scientist and senior project manager R&D in the business unit Future Applications and Media (FAME) of the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communications Systems (FOKUS) in Berlin. He works on Future Web Applications, Multiscreen Technologies and Standards, 360° Video Technologies, and Web of Things.​
Louay Bassbouss received his diploma degree in computer engineering from the Technical University of Berlin in 2008. His main research focuses on developing future web technologies in the fields of cross-device & cross-platform, and applications, 360° video streaming and rendering technologies and Web of Things.
Louay has actively participated in many standardisation activities by W3C and HbbTV (Hybrid broadcast broadband TV) especially in the W3C Second Screen Working Group and HbbTV 2.0 Companion Screens Task Force. He is also test facilitator of the W3C Presentation API. ​
Hoerim Choi, KTHoerim Choi currently works for KT Technology Strategy Office. He builds strategy and occasionally designs new business model based on key insights drawn from both technology and business trends. Hoerim is also involved in variety of GSMA activities including 5G, ID & Access Management, VoLTE & roaming.
Shuichi Aoki, NHKShuichi Aoki has been engaged in research and development on Super Hi-Vision systems at Science and Technology Research Laboratories, NHK. He also joins international standardization activities at ITU-R and MPEG. He is a vice-chairman of ITU-R WP 6B.
Thomas Stockhammer, Qualcomm

Thomas is Director Technical Standards at Qualcomm Incorporated and lives in Germany.
He received the Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees from the Munich University of Technology, Munich, Germany. After acting as cofounder and CEO of Novel Mobile Radio (NoMoR) Research for 10 years, he joined Qualcomm in 2014 as Director Technical Standards. In his different roles he has co-authored more than 200 research publications and more than 100 patents. In his day job, he is the active and has leadership and rapporteur positions in 3GPP, DVB, MPEG, IETF, ATSC, CTA and the DASH-Industry Forum in the area of multimedia communication, TV-distribution, content delivery protocols, virtual reality and adaptive streaming.
David Wood, EBUDavid Wood is a Consultant in Technology and Innovation to the European Broadcasting Union in Geneva. He has chaired a number of ITU-R groups and recently the DVB Study Mission on Virtual Reality. He chaired the ITU-R groups that developed the digital video standard, HDTV, and UHDTV production formats. He has worked for the BBC and other TV companies in the UK. He was educated at Southampton University in the UK and the Harvard Business School.
