Episode #7: Digital currency applications and need for standards

The seventh episode focused on “Digital Currency applications and the need for standards”.  This episode considered  the different use cases and applications of digital currency including central bank digital currency and the technologies behind them. In particular the need for standards for interoperability, governance and security was discussed.
Participation was open to ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and to any individual from a country that is a member of ITU who wishes to contribute to the work. This included individuals who are also members of international, regional and national organizations.​​
