​​Candidates for Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen of ITU-T SGs and TSAG
WTSA Resolution 35, describes the process for appointing chairmen and vice-chairmen. The TSB Director will issue a Circular Letter inviting Member States and Sector Members to nominate candidates for chairmen and vice-chairmen of ITU-T study groups and the Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group (TSAG). The names and CVs of candidates nominated and their resource commitments will be posted here as soon as they are made available.
The chairmen and vice-chairmen of all regional groups are not appointed by WTSA but by the study groups.
The chairmen of the following study groups will have reached their term limit by WTSA-16:
- ITU-T SG5: Environment and climate change
- ITU-T SG11: Protocols and test specifications
- ITU-T SG16: Multimedia
- ITU-T SG17: Security
The chairman of the following study group will not stand for re-election:
- ITU-T SG9: Broadband cable and TV
