Submission guidelines for EDAS - Editor's Assistant

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​These guidelines provide detailed instructions for submitting your paper to the ITU Journal through EDAS - Editor's Assistant. Please consult the ITU Journal paper templates for detailed instructions regarding the required format and structure of your submission.

This guide provides editorial guidance for drafting your paper, with reference to the updated ITU English Language Style Guide from Conferences and Publications Department.

Papers must be in English and in black font, no page limit. Papers must be submitted electronically on the peer review platform, EDAS – Editor’s Assistant (please use the specific link provided on the special issue webpage).
 
If you have used EDAS before, use your login credentials to enter EDAS. If you do not have an EDAS account, click on the "create a new account" link to create a new EDAS account. After creating an account, you can use your newly obtained username and password to submit a paper.
 
Paper proposals must be submitted as an unprotected Adobe’s Portable Document Format (PDF) file. All fonts must be embedded and the file should contain no bookmarks. These are strict publisher’s requirements. Look for information regarding embedding fonts and bookmark generation in the EDAS help page. Ensure that the paper complies with these guidelines. EDAS will reject non-compliant papers.​

Authors are encouraged to check and incorporate, as appropriate, the comments received by reviewers on the EDAS – Editor’s Assistant.
 
Camera-ready papers must be submitted electronically on the EDAS platform (please use the specific link provided on the special issue webpage) as an unprotected Adobe’s Portable Document Format (PDF) file. The original files (in Word or LaTeX format) should instead be sent via email to the ITU Journal Team at journal@itu.int.
 
Revised papers must be in English and in black font. But please use revision marks or a different colour to indicate the changes with respect to the original manuscript. All fonts must be embedded and the file should contain no bookmarks. These are strict publisher’s requirements. Ensure that the camera-ready paper complies with these guidelines. EDAS will reject non-compliant papers. Look for information regarding embedding fonts and bookmark generation in the EDAS help page.
