Summary:
|
Recommendation ITU-T L.103 describes characteristics, construction and test methods for optical fibre cables for indoor applications. In order for an optical fibre to perform appropriately, characteristics that a cable should have are described. Also, the method of determining whether the cable has the required characteristics is described. Required conditions may differ according to the installation environment; detailed test conditions need to be agreed upon between the user and manufacturer for the environment where a cable is to be used.
