Summary:

Since the vBNG deployment based on network function virtualization, and service demands become flexible and diversed for subscribers, service functions such as DPI, FW, NAT and so on can be deployed in edge cloud to support on-demand services that are closer to the users. In this scenario, vBNG can provide service function chain (SFC) service for subscribers by enhancing its function.
