Summary:

This Recommendation describes a framework of the low-latency and energy-efficient communications in integrated networking to support emerging use cases in future networks that require high capacity, low latency, and high energy efficiency.
It identifies high-level requirements derived from the use cases described in related ITU-T documents as well as new ones listed in Appendix.
It then specifies the framework and its components that meet the requirements.
