Knowledge as a Service (KaaS) is a cloud service category in which the capabilities provided to the cloud service customer are the ability to access, manage, and utilize comprehensive knowledge technologies and resources. This type of cloud services usually includes semantic search, knowledge discover, knowledge inference, knowledge management, etc. In the context of KaaS, "knowledge" refers to structured and unstructured information that has been processed and contextualized to be useful for decision-making, problem-solving, and other intelligent activities. KaaS addresses the challenge of efficiently accessing, managing, and utilizing extensive knowledge technologies and resources by providing cloud-based solutions that enable organizations and individuals to leverage comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge for informed decision-making and enhanced productivity.
