Recommendation ITU-T H.264.1: Conformance specification for H.264 advanced video coding

The conformance bitstreams identified in Rec. ITU-T H.264.1 are used for the tests specified in this Recommendation. The tests allow verifying whether bitstreams and decoders meet the normative requirements specified in Rec. ITU-T H.264 | ISO/IEC 14496-10:
  • An encoder can claim conformance to Rec. ITU-T H.264 | ISO/IEC 14496-10 if the bitstreams that it generates are conforming bitstreams.
  • A decoder can claim conformance to a specified profile and level of Rec. ITU-T H.264 if it can properly decode all bitstreams obeying constraints specified in Rec. ITU-T H.264 | ISO/IEC 14496-10.
Rec. ITU-T H.264 | ISO/IEC 14496-10 represents an evolution of earlier video coding standards (ITU-T H.261, ITU-T H.262, and ITU-T H.263) and it was developed in response to the growing need for higher compression of moving pictures for various applications such as videoconferencing, digital storage media, television broadcasting, Internet streaming, and communication. It is also designed to enable the use of the coded video representation in a flexible manner for a wide variety of network environments. The use of this codec allows motion video to be manipulated as a form of computer data and to be stored on various storage media, transmitted and received over existing and future networks and distributed on existing and future broadcasting channels.

Recommendation ITU-T H.265.1: Conformance specification for ITU-T H.265 high efficiency video coding

Recommendation ITU-T H.265.1 "Conformance specification for ITU-T H.265 high efficiency video coding" specifies tests for (non-exhaustive) testing to verify whether bitstreams and decoders meet the normative requirements specified in Rec. ITU-T H.265 | ISO/IEC 23008-2. This Recommendation was developed jointly with ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 29/WG 11 (MPEG) and corresponds in a technically aligned manner to ISO/IEC 23008-8.

Recommendation ITU-T H.266.1: Conformance specification for ITU-T H.266 versatile video coding

Recommendation ITU-T H.266.1 "Conformance specification for ITU-T H.266 Versatile video coding" specifies tests for (non-exhaustive) testing to verify whether bitstreams and decoders meet the normative requirements specified in Rec. ITU-T H.266 | ISO/IEC 23090-3 Versatile video coding (VVC). The bitstreams provided with this document correspond to the 08/2020 (V1) edition of Rec. ITU-T H.266.

Recommendation ITU-T H.810: Interoperability design guidelines for personal health systems

Rec. ITU-T H.810 defines the Continua Design Guidelines (CDG) which contain specifications to ensure the interoperability of devices used for applications monitoring personal health. It also contains additional design guidelines for interoperability that further clarifies these specifications by reducing the options in the underlying standard or specification, or by adding a feature missing in the underlying standard or specification. These guidelines focus on the following interfaces:
  • TAN-IF - Interface between touch area network (TAN) health devices and application hosting devices (AHDs)
  • PAN-IF - Interface between personal area network (PAN) health devices and AHDs
  • LAN-IF - Interface between local area network (LAN) health devices and AHDs
  • WAN-IF - Interface between AHDs and wide area network (WAN) health devices
  • HRN-IF - Interface between WAN health devices and Health Record Network health devices.
This Recommendation is a transposition of the CDG developed and maintained by Continua Health Alliance.
