WORK PLAN
Objectives - To progress with the definition of transmitter quality metrics for 800G DWDM applications in draft revised Recommendation ITU-T G.698.2
- To progress with the specification of 100G per lane 400G applications in G.695
- To consider contributions with proposals on modifications needed to G.698.4 to enable RPM and self-tuning features in G.698.4
- To progress with new Recommendation G.dfos
- To progress with new Recommendation G.fso
- To update G.Sup39, including PCS, revising the material covering SCM and improving the current descriptions of modulation formats
- To amend G.959.1 with the new OTSi definition
- To consider contributions with proposals on modifications needed to include NxN AWGRs in G.671
- To consider contributions with proposals on modifications needed to include ROPAs in G.661
- To include an example of MD-ROADM in Appendix I of G.672
- To progress with the joint activity with Q2 and Q5 about fibre statistics
- To consider contributions to define a list of requirements for P2MP systems (WD06-04R1, Plenary meeting of September 2022), in order to evaluate whether or not to start a new related work item.
- To consider contributions on optical interfaces for next generation fronthaul.
- To consider contributions on optical systems for joint communication and sensing.
