Distributing Multipurpose Community Internet Center & Directory
Deployment MCI (Multipurpose Community Internet) Center in rural villages with Government ( PPP) and in urban town with grass root SME member of APWKomitel(bottom up). - Promoting MCI Center thru Directory of Public Internet Center in rural villages, urban city, town and municipality with Ministry of ICT. Directory include OSOL (school warnet), SMCD Telecenter , CAP. - Promoting Billing systems with Photo Identification & authentications to reduce cyber-crime in public Internet center partnership with Dell Micronics - Deployment VSAT and Wireless Wifi/OWLAN technology for MCI Center in rural villages & urban town/island in Indonesia with Indosat IM2 Multistakeholder partnership were signed in the ITU Partnership Pavilions to Connect the World at WSIS in Tunis on 16 Oct 2005 at 14:00-16:00. APWKomitel/Association of Community Internet Center was accredited by WSIS secretariat ( WSIS-II/PC-3/Doc/4-E dated 5/9/2005 ) Geneva Plan of Actions Para: 6.j. Targeting 2005 for all villages has community access point (MCI Center). Para: C8.d on Multistakeholder partnership(MSP) . Para. 12.b, 12.f and 12.g on network security, trusted network and authentication in public internet center. ( Geneva Declarations Para. 35, Para. 59 on network security an authentications in public internet center to reduce cybercrime, spams etc. This project has been submitted to the Golden Book dastabase.
