The Project, developed as part of the alliance between the Ministry of ICT and Colciencias, is aimed to implement a ICT-use and appropriation strategy in order to improve the competitiveness of the fishing activities of 40 artisanal fishermen, contributing skills and inclusion scenarios in the Village of Taganga and Buenaventura District. The starting point of this strategy is the basic training in the use of the ICTs and the use of apps to manage catch information and costs of artisanal fisheries, as well as get information on wealth, seas and maritime cartography and information systems of the Colombian fishing sector to improve fishing processes.
