Subprogram “National Information and Communication Infrastructure”
NICI
High-performance and fast-paced development in the Republic of Belarus information and communication infrastructure, marked by international experts, the results become a consistent realization of the objectives of subprogram “National Information and Communication Infrastructure” of the National Program of accelerated development of services in the field of information and communication technologies for 2011-2015. Implementation of this program is the main instrument for the creation, operation and development of a modern framework for the organization of information exchange between all stakeholders of society: business, government, the public; allowed to provide modern services to residents of remote areas and contributed to the introduction of high-tech services on the basis of information and communication infrastructure in various spheres of life: economy, business, culture, education, sport, medicine, public administration. Thanks to the joint efforts of the government, telecommunication operators, public organizations and private businesses, the digital divide between small towns and large cities has been minimized.
