Climate

Temperature variations are typical for the weather conditions in the Republic of Belarus in November due to the frequent changes of relatively warm air masses of the western and south-western origin and frosty air masses from north and north-east. Cloudy weather with intermittent wet snow or rain predominates. The November average temperature is 00C with slightly above zero at daytime and slightly below at night and early in the morning. In some years Arctic air masses can reach the territory of Belarus decreasing the night temperature to -250C. Therefore the participants are highly recommended to have with both demi-season and winter clothes.

Electricity The European electricity standards are applied in the domestic power supply networks in the Republic of Belarus. Voltage is 220-240V and frequency is 50 Hz. Two round pins are used in the power sockets with diameter of contacts equal to 4 mm and length between the contacts equal to 19 mm.

Banking and currency

The Belarusian ruble is national currency of the Republic of Belarus. Every day the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus establishes official exchange rates of the Belarusian ruble in relation to the main foreign currencies. On the basis of these exchange rates commercial banks acting on the territory of the Republic of Belarus with valid licenses to perform currency exchange operations establish selling and purchasing rates of exchange.
