Biography |
Mr. H. Osuna, President, Comisión Federal de
Telecomunicaciones (COFETEL), Mexico Hector Osuna Jaime, is
President of the Federal Telecommunications Commission (COFETEL) of Mexico since
2006. The President Osuna has more than 20 years of experience in the public
service. In 1989 he was Representative to the Congress of Baja California State.
From 1992 to 1995 was Mayor of the city of Tijuana. He was also Senator of the
State of Baja California, Chairing the Communications and Transport Committee in
the Senate of the Republic. During his career in the private sector has also
held several positions in companies related to development of communication
infrastructure. Héctor Osuna studied architecture at the Autonomous University
of Guadalajara. |
