TRCSL has block-booked a number of hotel rooms in the recommended hotels (ranging from 2 to 5 stars) as shown in the table below where special discounted rates have been offered to the 2012 GSR/RA delegates. To benefit from the special rates, all reservations have to be made online via the host country website and not directly with the hotels. The room rates are inclusive of breakfast and all applicable taxes.

There will be an exceptionally high demand for hotel accommodation in Colombo city at the time of GSR/RA due to the International Twenty20 Cricket Tournament (World T20) scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka between 18 September and 7 October 2012. Delegates are therefore urged to book early, well before the cut-off dates given for block bookings of the recommended hotels.

To book your hotel accommodation, click here to log in Manage My Travel dashboard of the host country website, using your ITU confirmation ID and email address given at the time of registration.

After you submit your confirmation ID, you access your private page where you will see the status of your hotel reservation. Click on “pending” next to “Hotel reservation” to proceed with the booking.

All USD rates quoted are indicative only and are subject to change. Delegates are invited to check the latest exchange rates. Several sites are available to check the latest exchange rates of which www.xe.com.

A shuttle bus service will be available for delegates only from the recommended hotels listed below and the GSR/RA-12 venue. The schedule of buses leaving to and from hotels will be posted in the lobby of each of these hotels.
