Mr. Amit Kishor Tilwankar (winner of YES scholarship 2008) is currently pursuing Master of Science in Communications Engineering (Communications Systems specialization) at Technische Universität München, Munich, Germany and expected to graduate in 2010.

While working as Research Assistant at IIT Bombay, Mumbai, he came across ITU's Youth Education Scheme. Winning YES scholarship encouraged him a lot and proved as stepping stone in his career and thus enabling him to take education in telecommunication field.

After his studies he would like to contribute to the development of his country using his ICT knowledge and skills. He strongly feels that knowledge is the supreme power which should be applied for the betterment of human being.
