TSAG Correspondence Group "E-Time"
ITU-T is taking further steps for paperless meetings, e.g. distributing paper
copies only if specifically requested.
In June 2002 TSAG approved the set up of a correspondence group on ‘Time-E for
total electronic and paperless working’ in all of the ITU-T.
‘Time-E’ is the date by which the there will be total electronic working
methods implemented throughout the ITU-T. The actual date ‘Time-E’ has
been agreed by TSAG as the end of the next Study Period, the 31/12/2007.
The aim of the correspondence group is to be a focus on ‘Time-E’ related
issues so a common resolution of issues, which may impede such working methods,
can be achieved across ITU-T.
At the TSAG meeting of February 2003 it was agreed to encourage Members
of ITU-T study groups to subscribe to this correspondence group to
share views and experiences on the implementation of electronic working
practices so that duplication of effort and adoption of mutually
incompatible systems or applications are avoided.
The e-mail reflector for this correspondence group has now been created
and it is called: tsagtime-e
Participants will be able to subscribe to this reflector via the
new e-mail mailing list subscription interface by first logging into
their TIES account.
