Bridging the Standardization Gap |
Study Group Resources for Bridging the Standardization Gap |
Each of the different ITU-T Study Groups has developed actions and resources
to assist in bridging the Standardization Gap. This web-page provides a
compendium of these resources, with links to the main documents.
The TSB Director has prepared a report to the 2007 session of Council
(C07/EP/08), which sets out a base line of statistical information against
which progress in bridging the divide can be judged and explains the actions
taken to date. |

Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group (TSAG) |
Part of the work of TSAG is to provide guidelines to the Study Groups and to
review their priorities, programs and operations. The Study Groups report to
TSAG about the work they are carrying out in the different areas. In what
concerns ITU-T developing country support, a summary may be found in TSAG TD
397.
Individual Study Group plans are also available as TSAG Temporary Documents:

Study Groups |
In order to communicate the existing resources and tools to developing countries several SGs have established an information space:
In order to facilitate the involvement of Developing Countries in the
standardization activities and to reflect their needs and requirements in
Questions and Recommendations, certain Regional Groups have been created:
The following documents contain relevant information and results directly
