Supplement 45 to ITU-T L-series Recommendations contains best practices for the realization of a radio base station (BS) site to improve its site energy efficiency (SEE) as specified in Recommendation ITU-T L.1350 and considering the measurement method reported in Recommendation ITU-T L.1351. Supplement 45 to ITU-T L-series Recommendations contains cases of: • radio BS site from indoor to outdoor – SEE improvement 64%; • intelligent operation support system implementation; • room modernization – SEE improvement 19%.
