وفي السنوات الأخيرة، أصبح المزيد فالمزيد من سماعات الرأس المنتمية إلى مجموعة منتجات الصوت المجسم اللاسلكي الحقيقي (TWS) يتوفر تجارياً. في عام 2019، تجاوزت مبيعات سماعات الأذن ذات الصوت المجسم اللاسلكي الحقيقي مبيعات سماعات الأذن المغايرة. ويثير ظهور سماعات الرأس ذات الصوت المجسم اللاسلكي الحقيقي التساؤل بشأن أدائها من حيث صحة المستعمِل وسلامته. وهناك صلة وثيقة بين صحة وسلامة المستعمل والمواد المستعملة في سماعات الرأس ذات الصوت المجسم اللاسلكي الحقيقي. ومفهوم المنتجات ذات الحد الأدنى من المواد المقلقة والتخلص التدريجي عن المواد الضارة في الاستعمالات غير الضرورية هو أحد الجوانب الرئيسية للاستراتيجية الكيميائية المستدامة الأوروبية، وهو لبنة مهمة في البناء باتجاه هدف إزالة التلوث نهائياً، وهو ضروري للاقتصاد الدائري. وفي حين أن فكرة الاستعمالات غير الأساسية جديدة إلى حد ما في المبادرات التشريعية للاتحاد الأوروبي، فهي تأتي من قانون ضبط المواد السامة الأمريكي لعام 1978 وقد أخذت بها بلدان أخرى مثل كندا. وقد كُرس هذا المفهوم في النهاية في بروتوكول مونتريال الذي صُمم لحماية طبقة الأوزون. وإذ يتزايد عدد البلدان التي تعترف بأهمية الاقتصاد الدائري في مكافحة تغير المناخ، تزداد أهمية مفهوم المنتجات ذات الحد الأدنى من المواد المقلقة. ومع تزايد الصلة قرباً، تتزايد الحاجة إلى طريقة لمقارنة أداء منتجات الصوت المجسم اللاسلكي الحقيقي (TWS) فيما يتعلق بالبيئة والصحة والسلامة. وتهدف التوصية ITU-T L.1016 إلى وضع منهجية مقيَّسة لتقييم درجة الجوانب المذكورة أعلاه. |
