Interfaz entre la capa de enlace (LINK) y la capa física (PHY)
La Recomendación UIT-T G.999.1 define una interfaz entre un dispositivo de la capa de enlace (LINK), como un procesador de red, y un dispositivo físico (PHY) que soporte múltiples líneas DSL, como VDSL2, ADSL2 y SHDSL. En esta revisión se añade soporte para las interfaces físicas LINK/PHY de 2,5 Gbit/s y 10 Gbit/s.
