En la Recomendación UIT-T P.58 se definen las características electroacústicas de los simuladores de cabeza y tronco (SCT) utilizados en las mediciones telefonométricas. También se definen las características de generación y de captación de sonido de este dispositivo. Los oídos artificiales descritos en esta Recomendación soportan aplicaciones en banda estrecha, banda ancha, banda super ancha y banda completa. Sin embargo, cabe señalar que la impedancia acústica de los oídos artificiales tiene algunas limitaciones a la hora de simular de manera realista los oídos humanos. La boca artificial descrita en esta Recomendación soporta aplicaciones en banda estrecha, banda ancha y banda super ancha. Sin embargo, cabe señalar que la direccionalidad de la boca artificial limita su capacidad para simular la boca humana en la gama de frecuencias de banda super ancha. |
