Requisitos y capacidades de los sistemas de gemelos digitales para ciudades inteligentes |
La Recomendación UIT-T Y.4600 identifica los requisitos y capacidades de un sistema gemelo digital de ciudad inteligente que puede utilizarse para analizar casos de uso y estudios de casos, elaborar estrategias e identificar los parámetros óptimos para alcanzar un objetivo específico de una ciudad mediante la realización de simulaciones en una réplica digital de la ciudad (ciudades virtuales). El gemelo digital es una representación digital de un objeto de interés y puede requerir diferentes capacidades según el dominio específico de aplicación, como la sincronización entre la cosa física y su representación digital, y el soporte en tiempo real. El gemelo digital de una ciudad inteligente puede definirse como un gemelo digital que puede utilizarse para desarrollar estrategias con el fin de alcanzar objetivos específicos para una ciudad inteligente mediante la realización de simulaciones y para aumentar la visibilidad de las interacciones estratégicas entre el ser humano y la infraestructura. El gemelo digital de una ciudad inteligente permite simular planes antes de ponerlos en práctica, exponiendo los problemas antes de que se hagan realidad. Es decir, permite realizar simulaciones en una réplica digital de la ciudad (ciudades virtuales) antes de aplicar realmente la estrategia en la ciudad real. De este modo, resulta igualmente posible encontrar las mejores estrategias para lograr un objetivo específico o determinar qué estrategias con efectos similares requieren menos presupuesto y recursos. Por consiguiente, el gemelo digital de ciudad inteligente es una herramienta para mejorar el funcionamiento, la eficiencia y la resiliencia de una ciudad. |
