Protocolo de alerta común (CAP 1.1) |
El protocolo de alerta común (CAP) es un formato simple pero general para el intercambio de alertas de todo tipo de emergencias y de alertas públicas en cualquier tipo de red. El CAP permite que un mensaje de alerta coherente se transmita simultáneamente a muy diversos sistemas de alerta, incrementando así su eficacia y simplificando al mismo tiempo la tarea. El CAP facilita asimismo la detección de patrones de emergencia en alertas locales de varios tipos, como las que pueden indicar un peligro indeterminado o un acto hostil. El CAP también dispone de un modelo de mensajes de alerta efectivos basado en las prácticas idóneas determinadas por la investigación y la experiencia real. La Recomendación UIT-T X.1303 también ofrece una especificación XSD y su equivalente en ASN.1 (que permite una codificación binaria compacta) y permite utilizar herramientas ASN.1 y XSD para la generación y procesamiento de mensajes CAP. Esta Recomendación permite a los sistemas existentes, como los H.323, codificar, transportar y decodificar más rápidamente mensajes CAP. |
