La Recommandation UIT-T Y.2057 décrit un cadre de séparation des identificateurs de nœud et des localisateurs de routage (également appelée séparation ID/LOC) dans les réseaux de prochaine génération (NGN) utilisant le protocole IPv6. Elle décrit la séparation des adresses IPv6 ainsi que les fonctions et procédures de mappage et présente des considérations relatives à la mise en œuvre de la séparation des identificateurs et des localisateurs dans les réseaux NGN utilisant le protocole IPv6.
