Infrastructure d'authentification télébiométrique |
La Recommandation UIT-T X.1089 définit une infrastructure d'authentification, utilisant divers certificats biométriques, pour l'authentification à distance des êtres humains. Elle étend la Recommandation UIT-T X.509 relative au cadre général des certificats de clé publique et d'attribut et la norme ISO/CEI 24761 relative au contexte d'authentification biométrique. L'association des extensions X.509 ainsi que des télécommunications et de la biométrie est appelée infrastructure d'authentification télébiométrique (TAI). Celle-ci peut être utilisée dans les applications d'authentification avec ou sans infrastructure de clé publique (PKI) et/ou infrastructure de gestion des privilèges (PMI) sur la base de la Recommandation UIT-T X.509, mais elle est en principe utilisée avec les deux. Cette Recommandation définit les champs d'extension biométrique à utiliser dans les certificats X.509, pour produire des certificats biométriques. Une partie importante de cette Recommandation consiste à permettre aux dispositifs biométriques et aux logiciels associés de fonctionner à différents niveaux de sécurité (certifiés), en fonction des besoins de l'application à laquelle on accède. |
